The Cable
- Multicore architecture for clear and powerful reproduction: Inductances are effectively minimized, reducing signal flow obstruction.
- Air as a dielectric: The foamed polyethylene inner jacket reduces capacitance loading and thus ensures consistent brilliance.
- Concentric conductor construction: Each wire has a defined position within the cable. This ensures homogeneous signal transmission for a precise sound image.
- Double braided jacket: This effectively protects the cable and decouples it from structure-borne noise emanating from the floor.
The Plugs
- All connectors are from the renowned manufacturer WBT and are part of the nextgen™ product family.
- Copper version: The connectors and wire end ferrules are made of pure copper with nickel-free direct gold plating. The relatively soft gold ensures optimal contact and effectively protects the conductor from oxidation.
- Silver version: The connectors and wire end ferrules are made of pure silver with a direct platinum plating. This ensures crystal-clear signal transmission and optimal protection against oxidation.
- Angled cable routing: The cables are routed at an angle downwards, preventing them from kinking. This also reduces the length of the connection.
Bananas
Patented clampable contact pin: This is bulged by an internal, screwable center pin, ensuring constant contact pressure and minimized contact resistance.
Safe according to IEC and CE: The safety pin prevents the cable from being plugged into a power outlet.
Cable Lugs
- Patented sandwich fork: This design ensures consistent contact pressure and permanently minimizes contact resistance.
- Elastomer vibration damper: eliminates airborne and structure-borne noise, thus preventing contact microphony.
